6 Months...

Happy Half Birthday!!!   Where did the last 6 months go? Its seems so long ago that we held Brendan for the first time.  Everyday B is learning something new, and I am blown away by how babies can do that.  It is so cool to see him change and develop.

 

What a big month...

• Official 6mo Stats: 17 lbs & 27 inches.  B did amazing at his doctor appointment; passed with flying colors and even did super good on his shots (only a tiny cry this time).
• We officially have a sitter.  B sat up on Christmas for about 30 seconds, by New Years it was almost a minute and since then... Well, he's a bit wobbly still, but everyday it's longer and longer.
• We are finally starting to see more hair on B's head, but its mostly on sides so his male pattern baldness is still in full effect. 
• As always B is a TALKER!!! He has added a ton of new things to his vocabulary and is even beginning to mimic us.  Just to name a few words/sounds that were heard over the last month: "Ma Ma", "Da Da", "Ba Ba", "Bubba", "No No", "Na Na", "Oh-woe" and a fabulous new choice of squeals.
• We started on fruits & veges...  So far prunes (ewe), apples and sweet potatoes are his favorite and carrots are just plain gross (Owen even turned them down).
• Brendan LOVES his Owen aka "Oh-woe"... He laughs at him, squeals at him, lays on him, talks to him, pulls on him and even pets softly (sometimes).  Thank goodness Owen is cool with it so far.

 

What will happen this next month?  ...teeth, more sitting, new foods, pulling up, crawling???  Who knows, but it will be an awesome no matter what happens.
