Brendan is 8 Months today, and as always he is a busy-happy-always smiling-easy going-amazing-perfect little boy. We enjoyed a trip to see some of his cousins, a family day at the rodeo and playing outside more since it is warming up finally.
- The ladies in B's church nursery nicknamed him "Busy B"... That is an understatement as we all know, since he is ALWAYS moving, wiggling and giggling somehow.
- B isn't completely on board with crawling in the traditional way. Although he has done it he prefers to roll or crawl backwards mostly. However; Brendan has become far more interested in trying to pull up (on anything he can find), standing (he has even let go a few times) and walking (there have been some assisted steps).
- Still no teeth, but according to our pediatrician B is cutting two bottom & two top at once. You can see & feel all four, so needless to say poor little man has had a few rough days.
- Crib mattress lowering occurred today as B is now sitting up in crib all the time and trying to pull himself up. (so funny to watch on the monitor...)
- After obsessing over Nana's straw & cup for a while we decided to see what B would do if we let him drink. Straw: doesn't quite get it. Cup: two hands on it and drinking like a big boy.
- Owen is in love and becoming very protective of Brendan... And well I think the feelings are fairly mutual. Between the two there are lots of kisses, tail wagging, giggling, hugs and cuddles.
Another fun-filled busy month ahead with Springtime events including some parties, bluebonnet outings and celebrating Easter.
